Between November 1, 2012 and November 9, 2012, we will resume the 2012 Weber Furlong documentary film project with our final round of interviews in Glens Falls and Bolton landing. This is a follow up from the very successful Crandall Public Library event on August 7, 2012 in which we discovered yet another student of Weber Furlongs from 1953. From there we will begin the New York City segment at 3 locations, the Arts Students League, NYU Washington Square, and the 1913 Manhattan Gallery, which remains! We look forward to the conclusion of our 2012 projects and we expect to have an active 2013 back in your region. We would like to follow up with interested individuals about the placement of historical markers in Glens Falls and in Bolton Landing. Contact us if you are interested in assisting in your region.

August 7, 2012 at 7:00 PM Weber Furlong Documentary Film Project Crandall Library in Glens Falls, New York Professor James Kettlewell will give a short presentation on Weber Furlong at the Crandall Library in Glens Falls at the conclusion of our visit to Bolton landing and Glens Falls. As former Curator of the Hyde Collection, and a former professor at Skidmore College, and friend of Weber Furlongs, he has a wide following in the area. Therefore, we are proud to announce to all concerned, that we will have an open community discussion and call on the local communities to participate in this event. We invite people to the Crandall library on the evening of August 7, 2012 at 7:00 PM as part of the in search of Weber Documentary film project. This will be a question and answer open table discussion with interested individuals and a call for information on Weber Furlong once again throughout the Glens Falls region. The Chronicle and the Lake George Mirror have run very helpful pre-visit articles that have led us to local students of Weber’s in the Glens Falls region and in Bolton Landing. We will be filming this event for the documentary. Before concluding, Professor Kettlewell and I will sign the biography for anyone interested in the book about Weber Furlong, “The Treasured Collection of Golden Heart Farm. “This is also a pre release event to the Retrospective, being held at the International Woman’s Foundation in Marfa, Texas. For Immediate Release Thursday, July 11,2012 Good news and greetings to everybody on the team of the in Search of Weber Documentary film project in Bolton Landing and Glens Falls. We will be returning to conduct more filming and resume local interviews. We also have first edition releases of the Treasured Collection of Golden Heart Farm available. Bolton Landing will be the first premiere of the book. We are set for July 30, 2012 through August 6, 2012. Mona Blocker Garcia and I will be together for this historic event with Professor James Kettlewell. We have an interview on National Public Radio and we have contacted the station at St. Lawrence University WXLG-FM 97.3 Glens Falls to broadcast this the week of August 5, 2012, our local broadcast will be on July 19, at 10 AM in Texas only on 93.5 FM.
